Rock Revolution is being release today from Konami. I'll admit I haven't tried it yet, but from the look of the gameplay videos, it looks pretty awful.

With Xbox Live (XBL) being down today, many of us are wondering, what the heck did we do before XBL? With that theme in mind, let’s reminisce on all the activities of yesteryear.
Play the Campaign
Long before XBL there was a little mode called Single Player. Sure it sucks and nobody will be able to witness your skills first hand, but at least you’ll get a chance to unlock some new achievements!
Haul out an old RPG
With Fable 2 and Fallout 3 on the horizon, all I can think of is RPGs right now. You might as well use the XBL downtime to rediscover your old RPG games that have been collecting dust for many moons.
Have a friend over
A real life friend is almost as good as a XBL friend. Invite a couple friends over and jam on Rock Band 2, play some NHL 09, remind yourself why split screen sucks so bad or just get drunk and go around town picking fights (we do not endorse the latter option).
Watch a Funny Video
Go Outside
You probably won’t last long out in the sun before you burn up, so bring lots of sun block and wear heavy clothing to absorb the harmful rays from the sun. Before you know it, you’ll be enjoying the outdoors just like a normal person. Just keep telling yourself, tomorrow it will all be over.
Call your Mom, Dad, Girlfriend, Wife, Ex-Wife, etc.
They’ve all probably been wondering what happened to you since you discovered XBL. So give them an update, who knows when you’ll be able to waste valuable XBL time on them again anyway.
Pay your Parking Tickets
This is more directed at me and I fully blame XBL for making me forget to pay my $80 parking ticket. Unfortunately the city doesn’t seem to care. Now I get to pay a $95 parking ticket before the end of October or face jail time!!? Well now is a pretty damn good time to take of that little nuisance.
Read a Book
I’m just kidding, who reads books now a days? Books for work don’t count!
Buy an iPod Touch
Well if Microsoft is going to shut itself down for a full day, they’re going to risk losing customers to the competition. A brand new iPod Touch will keep you busy for hours!
Blog about something stupid
Like things to do when XBL is down! It will make you feel smart and reduce the intelligence of all those around you at the same time...kind of like Whiskey!
Get back to work
You know you shouldn't be reading this at work anyway!
